    Important Reminders:

    • Pool-side volunteers must be 18 years or older.
    • Middle or high school students that would like to earn community service hours may volunteer in the following roles:
      • Concession Stand
      • Meet Set-Up
      • Meet Take-Down

    JUDGES NEEDED:

Some positions are essential to running an effective meet and require additional league training. If you are interested in one of the following positions (and a $50 registration rebate) please reach out to me for more information.

    • Stroke and Turn Judge: Stands poolside and watches for swim stroke infractions. Requires easy training at a 2 hour league run free clinic to learn the current league & swim stroke rules. Great for people with competitive swim experience, but ANYONE can be taught at a free league clinic.
    • Meet Referee & Starter: Ensures fairness for all swimmers. Requires easy training at a free league run clinic and must have worked at least 1 year prior as a Stroke & Turn Judge. Knows the current league rules.

Maverick Swim League offers three opportunities for training:

    • Where: Jewish Community Center, 12500 NW Military Highway, Rooms 227/8/9
    • When: Sunday May 3, Saturday May 16 and Sunday May 17.
    • Recertification sessions will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 pm.
    • New official training will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.

Please let me know if you have any questions! We appreciate your continued to support to help us run effective and fun meets!
