Declare Your Swimmer
In order to participate you MUST declare your swimmer by midnight on Tuesday, June 10. We currently have 25 undeclared swimmers. Please check your Swimtopia account to make sure that you declared for this week. To declare for a meet, follow these steps:
- Log into your Swimtopia account.
- Under the tab for Swim Meets, click on the link for Calendar of Events.
- Next to the event title Lookout Oaks at Oaks at Sonterra, click on the green button that says "Meet Entry".
- You will see your swimmer(s) listed under "Your family swim meet status." Click the "Edit" button.
- For each swimmer, please use the drop down menu to select if your swim is or is not attending the meet and click "Save".
Volunteers Needed
While logged in here, you can also check your family's volunteer sign-up for the meet. We cannot have a successful swim meet without volunteers! Please check to see that you have already signed up for a role, and if not, choose one of the open positions. We still need to fill the following jobs:
- Event/Heat Board (second half of meet)- 1 Needed
- Head Timer (second half of meet)- 1 Needed
- Lane Timer (second half of meet)- 6 Needed
- Runner (second half of meet)- 1 Needed
- Ready Bench Parent (second half of meet)- 3 Needed
You can sign up for volunteer jobs on the same screen where you declare your swimmer. To learn more about each job and what it entails, check out our Meet Volunteers page.
I will share additional meet information, including set-up map, parking info, and warm-up times later this week. If you have a question, please don't hesitate to reach out via text or email.
Go Tiger Sharks!
