Arrive on time. Please arrive no later than 7:15. This will allow you time to park, set-up, and check-in before warm-ups. Tiger Sharks will warm up in the pool at 7:50 AM. Meet will begin at 8:30 AM.
Park and set up in designated areas. Space is available to the LEFT of the pool for Tiger Sharks set-up. You may bring your own shade/EZ-Up Tent, lawn chairs, coolers, etc. Parking in the pool lot will be limited. If it is full when you arrive, you will need to park on the street. Be mindful to avoid blocking access to the pool area, driveways, fire hydrants, stop signs, mail boxes and recycle bins.
Some events have been combined. This means that 2 events will be racing at the same time. Combing events helps us to speed up the meet by using all of the lanes instead of running events with several empty lanes. Please note if your swimmer is one of the following events:
- 1 and 2
- 3 and 4
- 5 and 6
- 7 and 8
- 35 and 36
- 37 and 38
- 65 and 66
- 67 and 68
Print your heat sheets before the meet. If you would like a printed copy of the heat sheet to reference during the meet, you will need to print it yourself before arriving at the pool. Copies will not be available for general distribution.
Download the Swimtopia App. The app is available for free for iPhones or Androids. If you would like online heat sheets and live meet updates, you can sign-up for the pro version for $5.99/month. Hot Tip: If you want to pay for Swimtopia Pro, wait until Saturday morning to sign-up. You get a 7-day free trial, plus 1 month for $5.99 and that should get you through the entire summer swim season. Cancel it as soon as the season is over and avoid paying for a second month.
Mark your swimmers arms. Learn how to mark your swimmer's arm for meet day. Please make sure that your swimmer is marked BEFORE warm-ups. Sunscreen will cause the marker to smear. I recommend that you mark your swimmer’s arm the night before the meet to help prevent it from coming off with sunscreen.
