We can't believe the season is coming to a close but we have some exciting events still to come! Our Division 3 Champs meet is this Friday, June 28th and our end of season party is Monday, July 1st! Please RSVP to the party via the link so we can get an estimated headcount of attendees for planning purposes!

End of Season Swim Team Party RSVP

If you won't be attending Champs, we will really miss you! If you will be attending, the below information is for you! 

The Champs Meet will be held at the Northside Aquatics Center at 8400 N Loop 1604 W, 78249. It is an outdoor venue so bring your portable neck fans if you have them! The meet will begin promptly at 10:30am and is projected to end around 3:00/3:30pm! There will be two food trucks on site or you can bring your own food/snacks/drinks...no glass bottles! 

Swimmer check in will be at 8:30am in the parking lot of the center, as the doors do not open for set up, swimmers or spectators until 9:00am. We will designate a spot and communicate that via Remind on Friday morning! At 9:00am, we will enter as a team and go straight to our designated section and put down our stuff and then the coaches will be calling swimmers for warm ups. We will be warming up in lanes 3 & 4 of our designated pool. I have attached a map for your reference, but it's a little hard to make heads or tails of if you haven't been there. Please note that only coaches, swimmers and volunteers will be allowed on deck and in the lower bleachers. All parents and spectators need to sit on the upper, covered bleachers for the duration of the meet. 

Each team is required to bring volunteers to be lane timers, lane line up people, runners, set up and take down crew and award sorting. I have opted to split the lane timer and lane line up jobs into 2 shifts so that one person doesn't have to do a job for upwards of 5 hours. If you would like to do the job for the entire time, you can sign up for both shifts. It is IMPERATIVE that we provide the number of volunteers that is asked of us, as we are part of this league and we do not want for any other team to have to pick up our slack. Please login to your Swimtopia account and find the Division 3 Champs meet calendar event, and sign up for a volunteer shift if you are able.

The heat sheets will be sent out as soon as I get them from the league president! If you have ANY questions at all, please don't hesitate to reach out! We didn't attend Champs last year so it'll be a first time experience for almost all of us, but we can't WAIT to cheer on our Tiger Sharks!! 

*Also, please note: if your swimmer places 1st or 2nd overall for their event (not just their heat) they will be invited to at the ALL STARS MEET at the Wildhorse pool on Tuesday, 7/2 with warm ups at 4:30pm and the meet starting at 6:00pm! More details to follow.*
