WOW!!!!! WHAT. A. MEET!!

Congratulations to all of our Tiger Sharks that competed today against The Oaks of Sonterra Sharks! I know we are a bigger team than them by a landslide so a win was slightly inevitable, but our Tiger Sharks really brought their technique, skills and speed today and we brought home that "W" with a final score of Tiger Sharks-807, Sharks-503!

And aside from winning, can I just say how proud we are of not only our swimmers, but our families! We got SO MANY compliments on how supportive our team was today and how awesome our sportsmanship is! From cheering on the last lane to the finish line, to waiting until the last swimmer exited the pool, to stepping up and filling most of the volunteer spots to make sure the meet ran smoothly, our team really brought it on all fronts today and we are beyond proud of our team!! 

In an effort to give swimmers time to collect pledges, we have decided to move the Swim-A-Thon to FRIDAY, JUNE 9th, where we will also hand out ribbons from todays meet and have donuts! I have attached an information sheet to this email and if you have any questions once you have reviewed the info, please don't hesitate to reach out! Also attached is a pledge sheet for your swimmer to print out and track their pledges and donations! The funds earned by our swimmers will help to pay our amazing coaches for the hard work and dedication they gave put in to our Tiger Sharks over these busy summer weeks, our swimmer insurance fees through MSSL, new ready benches, and our end of season team party! Top donation earners and lap swimmers from each age group will earn prizes and awards at the end of season party! I have included a list of lap counters that signed up as volunteers, and if you are scheduled to count laps for the event and can no longer make it with the date change, please let me know!

And finally, team t-shirts are in!! We will have them available for pick up at practices this week! Each swimmer will receive 1 shirt and we will have a small inventory of additional sizes for families to purchase at $15.00!  

That's all the info I have for now! Get some much needed rest and have a wonderful weekend and we will see our Tiger Sharks back in the water on Tuesday, June 6th as we prep to take on the JCC Sea Serpents in our 3rd dual meet that is scheduled for Monday, June 12th at 6:00pm!
